What’s been happening at Triangle?

Thanks to our committed team, Triangle has continued to function despite disruptive weather conditions.  Although unable to reach our office except on foot, we are still able to respond to your phone calls and e-mails, and will do our best to continue providing an exceptional service.  We would discourage anyone from visiting our premises until conditions improve; the scenery is spectacular but the roads are extremely dangerous!

Now we’re completely settled into our new office, we have been using the space and newly-installed facilities to their full potential.  Our big room and smaller interview room have proved very flexible in their uses.  Having taken advice from our consultation groups, we have altered the rooms to be a child-centred space.  They have been a great a success in sessions with individual children as well as for our regular consultative group meetings.  We have also hosted a filming day[k1] , which involved many people and a lot of technical equipment, and run various training courses.  For information on hiring out any of our rooms, please e-mail info@triangle.org.uk

New consultancy group

With more children and young people joining our consultancy groups, Triangle offered All Join In members the chance to create a new ‘middle’ consultancy group.  The newly formed Techy group with members aged ____ advises Triangle on the use of technology in our work with children and young people.  Both the Techy and Senior Consultative Groups have recently provided advice on the accessibility of a new careers website[k2]  specifically for deaf and disabled young people.  If you are interested in consulting any of Triangle’s groups, please e-mail info@triangle.org.uk
