We are currently trying to liasie with Leeds City Council to see if there is any funding available to develop a home zone in our area although the initial indiaction is that they are concentrating on 20mph zones and traffic claming in accident blackspots.

We have also joined Living Streets who campaign for better streets and public spaces for people of foot and we are investigating potential sources of support, guidance and funding.

The Headingley consultation document prepared as a result of all the work last year has suggested that central Headingley needs more green spaces and we would like Sparrow Park and the area alongside it to be part of this development.
