Cardigan Triangle Community Association (CTCA)

     

 

 

Introduction

The Cardigan Triangle is an area of 400 Victorian terraces that happens to have a clear geographical border. It is bordered by Cardigan Road, the stadium and the railway line. These form a triangle which includes -

  • Bearpit Gardens
  • Broomfields
  • Cardigan Rd
  • Chapel Lane and Fold
  • Cumberland Court
  • Newports
  • Rochester Terrace
  • St Michael's Lane
  • Trenics
  • Valley Court

Features of the area are -

  1. Conservation area, due to its architectural character
  2. Friendly community feel
  3. Great transport links, including its own train station (Burley Park). Walking distance, through the park, to the town centre.
  4. Excellent local education, from toddlers to teenagers
  5. Shops, cafes, bars in walking distance
  6. Peace and quiet. The area does not suffer from through traffic.
  7. Family friendly atmosphere with plenty of children and young people
  8. Thriving allotments nearby
  9. Sports facilities, including the cricket and rugby stadium
  10. Active Community Association and family social events
