Expert Opinion

Triangle provides independent expert opinion to the courts, local authorities and other agencies on a range of issues, including the assessment of children’s needs  and  of parenting capacity. We also undertake risk assessments and give guidance on communication, on challenging behaviour and on investigative interviewing.

We provide these services across the UK. We run our own expert witness development programme for senior members of the team, delivered by Penny Cooper of the Inns Court School of Law.

How it works

Most of our expert opinion work is undertaken by small multidisciplinary teams, with an identified lead person. We produce a single report with shared conclusions. We also provide single experts acting alone. Experts are available from the following disciplines: paediatric neurology, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, BSL interpreting, specialist childrens nursing, art therapy, play therapy, psychotherapy, psychology and teaching. All are registered with the appropriate regulatory bodies.
