Intensive Support
We provide intensive support to children with very complex needs: children whose behaviour is causing serious concern and children with complex health care needs. We work alongside families, foster carers and others to support children safely and to everyone's benefit. We are committed to inclusion and aim to prevent unnecessary separation of children from their families and communities.
We can develop life stories and passports with children: friendly accessible guides to ensure a childs needs are understood.
How it works
We provide skilled support workers who focus on specific goals agreed with the family, referring agency and where possible the child. We support children at home, at school, in nurseries, in leisure activities and in clinical settings.
We also provide skilled multidisciplinary teams that work coherently, including therapists (play therapists, art therapists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists), psychologists, specialist childrens nurses, paediatricians, dietician. We can provide assessment, advice and direct clinical work.
