Reg is part of Triangle’s forensic interviewing team and helps lead the development of investigative interviewing practice and training at Triangle. Reg served 30 years in the police, holding senior roles in major crime and child protection. He was Chief Superintendent and Commander of the Metropolitan Police Child Abuse Investigation Command, the largest law enforcement child protection team in the world.
Reg now co-leads Triangle’s Forensic Questioning of Children development programme and does some defendant intermediary work for Triangle. He is also a national facilitator for the College of Policing on strategic multiagency training and critical incident management, chairs two Local Children’s Safeguarding Boards, is a safeguarding peer reviewer and works collaboratively with a number of research teams on delivering child friendly justice and internet safety.
