Specialist Support

Triangle provides a unique and flexible range of services for children and young people with concerning behaviours, including sexually concerning behaviours.

This includes outreach support, direct 1:1 work and groupwork. We have particular expertise with children who have experienced abuse, with Deaf children and children with autism or learning disability. We also train support workers.

We work with children and young people with a range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD, sensory impairment and brain injury. We also work with very young children who are below the age threshold for statutory services.

There may be a known history of abuse or there may be concerns about the child’s past or current safety, or the risk presented to other children. Triangle’s safeguarding expertise means we can work confidently with children and young people during investigations and pre and during trials, whether the child is a victim or defendant.

Our work can include:

  • Risk assessment
  • Therapy
  • Life story work
  • Safety work
  • Support and guidance for families and those working with children
  • Communication assistance
  • Production of child specific "keeping safe" resources
